As a money management firm, our primary objective is to navigate successfully through the ever-changing global investment landscape. Regardless of whether there is inflation or recession, volatile or quiet markets, we systematically manage opportunities and risk by being prepared for the unexpected so you, as the client, do not have to. We strongly believe that the best trading decisions are done in a systematic fashion where human decisions are not involved whatsoever. While human decision making and emotions are vital to our daily functioning, they also present a handicap in the trading world. State of mind, emotions, physical conditions, inner interpretations, etc., they all play a part in human-discretionary trading, which translate in time into inconsistencies. We believe that by applying the same methodologies over and over, 24 hrs, 5 days a week, when opportunities present themselves, a consistent, predictable return is achieved. Just like a casino applies its small odds over and over around the clock to its patron gamblers, so the systems apply their favorable odds to the market continuously. This results in a predictable, consistent profit growth over time.

The foundation of our quantitative systematic approach to money management is the repetitive behavior of market price data. Price data itself is unbiased, yet we strongly believe that prices reflect the current collective psychology and the discounted future expectation (biases) of all market participants. This international "herd mentality" ultimately manifesting itself in market trends and corrections that occur in repeating waves of optimism and pessimism. However, trading advisor performance is all about effectively managing these events.

To successfully manage the opportunities generated by the contrasting nature of the markets, we systematically attempt to seek out the "subtle harmony" (market moves that have conviction) that exist within the price structure of all markets, while endeavoring to mitigate the challenges (choppy directionless markets) that are intrinsic to all free-market instruments. In very simplistic terms, our systematic models are constantly scanning global price data seeking to capitalize on these repetitive patterns by statistically quantify three types of investment opportunities that we call swing trades, trend trades and trend-exhaustions trades.
